In All Its Glory Exhibition, Chester Cathedral
BAMM North West created a group exhibition “In All Its Glory”, responding to the architecture, interior and grounds of Chester Cathedral in autumn 2016. This piece refers to a comment by Malala Yousafzai and responds to the biblical marble mosaic panels in the cathedral nave. It mimics the script panel for the David and Goliath frieze with a modern day equivalent story. Malala campaigns for every girl (globally) to receive 12 years of free, safe, quality education. “Don’t Hate, Educate” is the UK Youth Parliament campaign slogan against racism and religious discrimination.
