Lowry High School
Salford City Council commissioned me to work with pupils at Lowry High School to design new vehicular and pedestrian gates at the school entrance. I invited artists Kim Boyle and Ann Gilligan to join me for a series of exciting design workshops in school. The pupils produced some amazing work using a wide variety of approaches to image creation, including building the customised shopping trolley monsters (trolleys provided by Sainsbury’s) which we photographed behind a screen to produce interesting silhouettes. The gates were fabricated by Globe Fabrications in Trafford Park.
