Sculptural Neon Signage Commission
The style of the signage was inspired by the ‘star’ quality of the performances that take place inside the venue and the ‘meteoric’ rise to fame of many of the musicians, comedians and actors that have topped the bill here. I worked with John Taylor Electronics to devise the neon elements and the timing sequence for their illumination and I worked with ABR Fabrications in Irlam to fabricate the stainless steel structure that also has brass and copper elements.
