For this project Tracey worked with a group of elderly residents from two high-rise tower blocks during a sixteen week consultative artist residency.

Ideas were generated, developed, exhibited and discussed for possible artworks and landscaping treatments to improve the immediate environment. This included producing
a scale model to try out some of the most popular suggestions.

Although not all residents were able to participate in the practical workshops, most of them took part in the voting. The 'Castle Benches' design proved to be the favourite option and consequently two of these were made and installed in March 1999.
