"The Elements",

This commission was carried out in collaboration with landscape architect Giles Warrell. It contains patterns to symbolise the elements: air, water, earth and fire, and includes ceramic, glass, pebbles, stone and stainless steel.

The phrases around the circumference read: Soul on Fire, Head in the Clouds, Tides of Fortune and Feet on the Ground.

The circular mosaic work is dissected by a pebble version of the River Ribble and by a stone line representing a thread of cotton.
