With thirteen
years' experience as a Professional Public Art Practitioner, Tracey Cartledge
provides a unique creative service, forging successful creative partnerships
with a range of bodies such as Local Authorities, Schools, Development Corporations,
Hospitals and Galleries. Tracey's practice includes:

Tracey has vast experience and has developed innovative ways to work successfully
in collaboration with community groups
to enable them to contribute to public art projects.

Site-specific works of art are created to commission, for public and community
spaces, and involve a wide range of designs and materials.

Residencies (Workshops)
Working in schools/youth centres/libraries/galleries and museums to explore
wide range of techniques and art forms, whilst investigating and developing
various themes and ideas.

Projects
by Monkey Business (Partnership)
These projects are undertaken jointly with artist Ann Gilligan under the
title 'Monkey Business'.
Whilst ensuring
that her projects are exciting, creative, and professional, Tracey has a
commitment throughout
to following acknowledged codes of good practice, which include:
- Community consultation;
- Production of detailed
proposals, including design drawings, models and
maquettes;
- Overseeing work by
various fabricators and other sub-contractors;
- Supervising site work
and ensuring schedules are adhered to;
- Managing and delivering
projects on time and to a high standard;
- Producing evaluation
reports.
